It's amazing to remember how young the modern quilt guild is and how much they've accomplished in such a short amount of time, including the inaugural QuiltCon coming up in February!
Last year for our 2nd anniversary celebration we held a swap to celebrate and I enjoyed making these Flying Geese pillows for Jennifer. This year we're having another anniversary swap. At last month's meeting we exchanged wrapped packages of ziploc bags filled with scraps. We were challenged to make something for our partner from their scraps adding only 1 fabric of our own.
Here are the scraps from the bag that I pulled:
There was actually quite a lot of fabric in the bag and I was able to make the entire thing only from the scraps! I added only interfacing and the wooden handles.
I hope my partner enjoys it! Latifah has my bag of scraps and I can't wait to see what she's made with it for me!

This is absolutely adorable! I love your design, and the wooden handles are modern and yet so sweet!
