Pretty {little} Pouch
With the LAMQG Anniversary Swap finished, I signed up for a new round of this super cute swap on Flickr! Since I was going to try out a new pattern, I decided I wanted to make a practice pouch first before starting on one for my partner. Last week I received two beautiful fat quarters of Far Far Away 3 from Mountain of the Dragon, and of course who doesn't use $20/yard fabric for their "practice" run?
I LOVE these little cowgirls playing with their toy horses! And don't even get me started on the guitars.
I started using the template for the "travel bag" in French General Home Sewn, but quickly had to throw out the directions when I realized that their version had no lining. I'm really proud that I was able to figure out how to put this together on my own, lining and all.
I am so pleased with how this one turned out! Next I'll be making one for my swap partner in her favorite colors!
